OPISYAL nang itinalaga ni Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte si dating Presidential Security Group commander Brig. Gen. Jose Eriel Niembra bilang bagong hepe ng Intelligence Service of the Armed Forces of the Philippines (ISAFP).

“We wish BGen Niembra all the best in his new assignment,” ayon kay Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.

Sa isang seremonya, araw ng Biyernes, Hulyo 24 ay winelcome ng Armed Forces of the Philippines si Niembra bilang bagong ISAFP chief kapalit ng nagretiro na si Brig. Gen. Oliver Artuz, na naupo sa posisyon noong Pebrero.

“I am confident that the newly posted Chief, ISAFP, Brigadier General Niembra, would be able to inspire and lead Team ISAFP to greater milestones in the future. The AFP leadership will support you in all your endeavors,” ayon kay AFP Chief of Staff Felimon Santos Jr. Si Santos ang namuno sa seremonya via teleconferencing.

Nito rin lang nakaraang Biyernes, nagbigay ng pagpupugay at pamamaalam ang military kay Brig. Gen. Cesar De Mesa, Chief of the AFP Peace and Development Office (AFPPDO).
Si Brig. Gen. Francisco Ariel A. Felicidario III naman ang pumalit sa puwesto ni De Mesa. (CHRISTIAN DALE)
