NAGPALABAS ng direktiba ang Bureau of Customs sa lahat ng bagong appointees ng iba’t ibang posisyon sa BOC na dumalo sa isinagawang flag raising ceremony sa OCOM Grounds, BOC Compound, Gate 3, South Harbor, Port Area, Manila noong Disyembre 2 para sa kanilang oath taking ceremony.
Kasabay nito, ipinag-utos ni BOC Deputy Commissioner for Internal Administration Group Donato San Juan sa bagong appointees na magtungo sa Human Resource Management Division, 2F OCOM Building, South Harbor, Port Area, Manila dakong alas-2 ng hapon.
Layunin nito ang pamamahagi ng Notices of Appointment at checklist of requirements na may kaugnayan sa patotoo ng kanilang appointment papers ng Civil Service Commission (CSC).
Kaugnay nito, pinaalalahanan sila ng mga sumusunod na may kaugnayan sa probisyon ng CSC Memorandum Circular No. 14, s. 2018 (2017 Omnibus Rules on Appointments and Other Human Resource Actions, Revised 2018).
“If the appointee has taken his/her oath office and assumed the duties of the position, he/she shall be entitled to receive his/her salary at once without awaiting the approval/validation of his/her appointment by the Commission,” ayon sa memo.
“An appointment issued by the appointing officer/authority may be cancelled if the appointee does not assume office or report to duty within thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of the writtten notice of the appointment,” base pa rin sa nasabing memo.
Kabilang sa mga binigyan ng direktiba na dumalo sa nasabing flag-raising ay isang Administrative Aide III/SG-3; (1) Customs Operations Officer I/SG-11; dalawang Executive Assistant I/SG-14; dalawang Management and Audit Analyst II/SG-15; dalawang Customs Operations Officer III/SG 16; 13 Customs Operations Officer IV/SG-18; 12 Customs Operations Officer V/SG-20; dalawang Collector of Customs II/SG-22 at isang Collector of Customs III/SG-23.
