Kasi if we wait for the Bulacan [airport], 12 years pa bago matapos,” ani Yap.

“We need to fastrack. We need to do what needs to be done in Sangley.  We have to spend for Sangley even if right now,  Sangley is only ready for turboprop operations,” ani  Zubiri.

“We can still maximise the airport if we work and act on it right way. I implore this committee to equip and expand Sangley to augment the NAIA,” dagdag pa ng mambabatas.

Sinabi naman ni Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Aerodome Development and Management Service Chief Engineer Raul Glorioso na aabutin ng dalawang taon ginamit sa commercial flights ang Sangley Point dahil kailangang magtayo ng terminal building.

“Other than, the existing taxiway right now, the proximity is too close to the runway. The requirement for a taxiway for a jet aircraft is 106 meters. Currently, the existing right now is only 62. So it can’t operate we call it 4C aircraft,” ani Glorioso bukod sa kailangang paluwagin ang mga kalsada.
