PARA magkaroon ng patuloy na ligtas na economic activities, umapela ang Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) sa mga establisimyento na ikonsidera na magkaroon ng mas maraming outdoor spaces para sa dining at recreation activities.

Ang apela ng IATF sa mga establisimyento ay maglagay ng libreng espasyo para sa outdoor activities at lumikha ng urban green areas.

“To enable the safe continuity of economic activities, the IATF asked establishments to consider developing and converting more outdoor spaces into temporary outdoor weekend markets and dining spaces,” ayon kay Presidential spokesman Harry Roque.

Tinawagan din ng pansin ng pamahalaan ang mga establisimyento para naman sa “permanently accessible urban green spaces, outdoor recreational spaces at public sanitation facilities.

Ang apela ng IATF ay kasunod ng paghihigpit ng pamahalaan o movement controls sa Metro Manila para mapigil ang pagkalat ng “highly transmissible Delta coronavirus variant” sa bansa.
Nauna rito, kinumpirma ng Health authorities ang local transmission ng Delta variant sa bansa matapos na makapagtala ng 47 kaso nito. (CHRISTIAN DALE)
