Mike Defensor at Councilor Winnie Castelo.

“The last component, costing P9 billion, is a combination of an infrastructure program that would provide new jobs to city residents, and pandemic responses that aim to lessen the city’s new COVID-19 cases and protect people from the highly infectious respiratory disease,” ayon kay Defensor.

We will hit the ground running on Day 1 of our stewardship of the city,” dagdag pa ng mambabatas na tatakbo bilang mayor ng Quezon City laban kay incumbent Mayor Joy Belmonte.

“We have clear-cut, comprehensive and practical solutions. We will focus like a laser beam to help our residents recover and to revive the economy. We will help businesses create new jobs,” ayon naman kay Castelo.

“Our city has an unenviable record under the leadership of Mayor Joy Belmonte: it is always No. 1 – in terms of daily new cases. Surely, there are better ways to deal with this pandemic, which the city’s current leadership has clearly failed to execute,” ayon pa kay Defensor. (BERNARD TAGUINOD)
