MAINIT at magiliw na tinanggap ni Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Cebu District Collector Atty. Ricardo Uy Morales II, CESE, si Internal Administration Group (IAG) Deputy Commissioner Michael C. Fermin sa pagbisita nito noong Agosto 25, 2023.

Ang pagbisita ay nagbigay ng magandang pagkakataon para kay Deputy Commissioner Fermin na makakuha ng mga ‘insight’ sa operasyon at mga inisyatiba sa pamamagitan ni District Collector Atty. Morales II.

Isa sa focal points ng pagbisita ang inspeksyon sa konstruksyon ng New Aduana de Cebu building.

Inobserbahan nina District Collector Atty. Morales II at De­puty Commissioner Fermin ang progreso nito at biniigyang-diin ang kahalagahan ng moderno at mahusay na imprastraktura na pasadya para sa mga pro­seso ng customs at pagpapahusay ng mga serbisyo sa stakeholders.

Inihayag ni Deputy Commissioner Fermin ang kanyang pagpapahalaga sa pangako ng Port of Cebu para sa moder­nisasyon sa pamamagitan ni District Collector Atty. Morales II, at idiniin ang kahalagahan sa pagpapahusay ng kakayanan ng port para matugunan ang lumalagong pangangailangan sa pag-streamline sa kalakalan at mga proseso ng customs.

Morales II.

Kasabay nito, pinuri ni Depu­ty Commissioner Fermin ang BOC Port of Cebu sa kanilang mga inisyatiba at pinuri rin ang maliwanag na kinabukasan ng customs ope­rations sa Port, at sinabing, “I am impressed by the efforts undertaken by District Collector Atty. Morales II and his team.

The progress being made here is a testament to the dedication and vision driving the Bureau of Customs Port of Cebu through the leadership of District Collector Atty. Morales II.”

Sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni District Collector Atty. Morales II, CESE, sa patnubay ni Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio, ang Port of Cebu ay nananatili sa pa­ngako na itaguyod ang kanilang misyon na pagpapadali sa tuloy-tuloy na kalakalan, pa­ngangalaga sa mga pambansang hangganan at pag-aambag sa kaunlaran ng bansa.
