“Based on the feedback we obtained around Quezon City, children are doing their share to keep their older loved ones out of harm’s way,” ayon sa mambabatas, dahil mismo ang mga kabataang ito ay nagrerehistro na mga matatanda sa kanilang pamilya gamit ang internet.

“The children are the ones trying to find ways to enlist their parents, grandparents and other adult household members for immunization. They are going online and using their laptops or mobile phones to get vaccination appointments for their elders,” dagdag pa ng vice chairman ng House Committee on Children’s Welfare.

“We are counting on word-of-mouth marketing to help address vaccination hesitancy. As more Filipinos get vaccinated and casually relate their positive experience to other people, this in turn will motivate even more individuals to seek inoculation,” ani Defensor.

“People will be more receptive to vaccination once they receive good feedback from neighbors, relatives and co-workers, and once vaccination services become more accessible,” dagdag pa nito. (BERNARD TAGUINOD)
