P15.9-M PINAGHATIAN NG FORMER REBELS SA NOLCOM

AABOT sa 222 na dating communist rebels mula Northern at Central Luzon ang tumanggap ng financial assistance sa gobyerno sa ilalim ng Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program for CY 2020, ayon kay Northern Luzon Command Chief Ltgen. Arnulfo Marcelo Burgos Jr. kahapon.

Sa isang pagpupulong sa punong himpilan ng NOLCOM na pinangunahan ni Undersecretary Reynaldo B Mapagu, chairperson ng Task Force Balik-Loob, kasama si LTgen. Burgos Jr., commander ng NOLCOM, bukod sa Php 15.9 million financial assistance package na tinanggap ng may 222 formers rebels ay may iba pang benepisyong inilaan sa kanila.

“This is apart from the other benefits offered by the different government agencies, such as the “Pangkabuhayan Package” from the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE); Educational Scholarship offered by the Department of Education (DepEd); Skills Development Training offered by Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), and Housing Assistance offered by National Housing Authority (NHA),” ani USEC Mapagu.

Kaugnay nito, pinapurihan ni USec Mapagu ang Northern Luzon Command sa pagsisikap masuportahan ang implementasyon ng E-CLIP program ng Duterte administration.
“Your steadfast commitment to support the implementation of E-CLIP is a testament of how serious Northern Luzon Command in defeating the communist terrorists in your area of operation,” ayon sa opisyal.

Ang E-CLIP ay flagship program ng Duterte administration na naglalayong matugunan ang mithiing magkaroon ng pambansang pagkakaisa at pangmatagalang kapayapaan para sa pagsusulong ng kaunlaran.

Ang nasabing programa ay tinututukan ng Task Force Balik-Loob, na layuning mapagkalooban ng social equity, mga pangkabuhayang proyekto para sa dating kasapi ng CPP-NPA-NDF at Militia ng Bayan na nagnanais makabalik sa normal na pamumuhay. (JESSE KABEL)
