HANDANG-HANDA na si Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte para sa kanyang panlimang State Of the Nation Address (SONA).

Sa katunayan, ayon kay Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Sec. Martin Andanar ay nagkaroon ng 2nd rehearsal ang Pangulo kagabi, (Hulyo 26).

At dahil aniya sa infection na dala ng COVID-19 sa RTVM personnel, ang RTVM ay magtatalaga ng iba’t ibang team para i-cover ang SONA at ito aniya ay kinabibilangan ng mga staff na walang contact sa mga infected ng COVID-19.

Ang SONA ngayong taon ay hindi na aniya katulad ng mga naunang Ulat Sa Bayan pagdating sa bilang ng mga dadalo sa event.

“It is the first time that in observing the prescribed health protocols and number of people who will be allowed inside Batasan will be very limited. And if the protocols and if the regulations of the

House is followed, it will only be 50 all in all physically present to witness the 5th SONA of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte. These 50 will be composed of selected individuals from the Senate, the House and even the Executive Branch,” ayon kay Sec. Andanar.

Ito rin aniya ang kauna-unahang pagkakataon na ang Pangulo ay magde-deliver ng kanyang SONA sa gitna ng pandemya sa pamamagitan ng virtual. (CHRISTIAN DALE)
