PINAYAGAN ng Inter-agency Task Force (IATF) ang special commercial flights para makauwi ang mga stranded Filipino sa Oman, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, at iba pang bansa na mayroong travel restrictions na ipinatutupad ang Pilipinas.
Ayon kay Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, ang mga special commercial flights ay “subject to guidelines” tulad ng pagkakaroon ng Special Working Group (SWG) para matukoy ang implementing protocols para sa special commercial flights, “in coordination with the concerned airlines.”
Ang SWG ay binubuo ng Department of Health, Bureau of Quarantine, Overseas Workers’ Welfare Administration, Department of Foreign Affairs, Department of Transportation at ang One-Stop Shop, Philippine Coast Guard at ng Department of Tourism.
Kailangang may “prior approval” mula sa SWG ang mga special commercial flights na ito na eksklusibo para sa mga Filipino.
Kailangan ding sundin ang guidelines para sa implementasyon ng exemptions para sa Philippine government at non-Philippine government repatriation. (CHRISTIAN DALE)
