2nd Flavors of NCR

In celebration of the Filipino Food Month or “Buwan ng Kalutong Filipino”, the Association of Tourism Officers of the National Capital Region (ATO-NCR) is launching the 2nd Flavors of NCR Food Festival with the theme: “Pagkaing Sariling Atin, Mahalin at Pagyamanin” at the Kartilya ng Katipunan in the City of Manila on April 27-28, 2023.

There will be fifteen (15) cities and one (1) municipality in the National Capital Region confirming support and participation: Caloocan City, Las Piñas City, Makati City, Malabon City, Mandaluyong City, Manila City, Marikina City, Muntinlupa City, Navotas City, Parañaque City, Pasay City, Pasig City, Pateros, Quezon City, San Juan City, and Valenzuela City. The grand opening of the food festival on Thursday, April 27 at 10:00 in the morning will be graced by the city mayors, guests from the Department of Tourism, stakeholders and partners in the tourism and food industry.

Everyone is invited to come and visit this food festival to enjoy the wonderful and delicious heritage cuisine from different Local Government Unit (LGU) in the National Capital Region (NCR).

This aimed to become a regular event and attraction not only to preserve traditional Filipino cuisine but also to help promote food tourism and to help small business entrepreneurs.

This event will be highlighted with the performance of local talents, city bands, ballet dancers, folkloric dancers and festival dances. The 2nd Flavors of NCR is hosted by the City of Manila with its Mayor Hon. Honey Lacuna thru the efforts of Mr. Charlie Dungo, Tourism Officer and ATO-NCR president.
