PATULOY ang imbestigasyon sa isang opisyal ng Land Transportation Office (LTO) matapos suspendihin ang kanyang drivers’ license dahil sa pagkakasangkot sa aksidente gamit ang official vehicle ng ahensya sa Zamboanga Sibugay.
Ayon sa ulat, inutos ang pansamantalang pagsuspinde sa lisensya ng isang opisyal ng LTO Zamboanga Peninsula Regional Office na nagmaneho ng pick-up truck na sumadsad sa isang tubigan.
Sinabi ng LTO, nag-isyu ito ng show cause order sa opisyal sa alegasyon ng reckless driving at pagiging “improper person to operate a motor vehicle.”
“It is not immediately clear if the driver was under the influence of liquor at the time of the incident but this will be one of the matters that will be looked into by LTO Intelligence and Investigation Division chief Renante Melitante,” paliwanag ng LTO.
Nangyari ang insidente sa Purok 4, Gandiangan sa bayan ng Imelda noong nakalipas na linggo, ayon sa report ng Police Regional Office Zamboanga Peninsula (PRO 9).
“Based on the initial investigation, the LTO official was driving a pick-up truck from Pagadian City to Zamboanga City when he suddenly sped off. This resulted in the car plunging into a swamp and the video of it went viral,” ayon sa LTO.
Samantala, iniulat ng PNP-PRO 9 na, “The driver lost control of the steering wheel.”
Hindi naman nasaktan sa insidente ang driver at tatlong sakay nito na pawang mga empleyado din umano ng LTO.
