INAPRUBAHAN ng Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging and Infectious Diseases (IATF) ang pagsama ng asukal sa COVID-19 relief packages na ipamamahagi ng local government units (LGUs) sa kani-kanilang constituents.
“With a view to assist sugar farmers and the sugar industry, the recommendation of the Department of Agriculture to encourage LGUs to include sugar in their relief good packages is adopted,” ayon kay IATF spokesperson and Cabinet Secretary Karlo Nograles.
Inorganisa namang muli ng National Task Force Subgroup on Food Security ang National Task Group on Food Group, na pamumunuan ng Department of Agriculture.
Maliban sa DA, ang iba pang miyembro ng reorganized task group ay ang Department of Trade and Industry, National Economic and Development Authority, Department of Social Welfare and Development, Department of Budget and Management, Department of Education, Department of Science and Technology, National Security Council, Department of the Interior and Local Government, at iba pang ahensiya ng pamahalaan.
