MAGAGAMIT na sa paglaban sa pandemyang COVID-19 ang pasilidad sa Philippine Arena sa Bocaue, Bulacan.s

Magkakatuwang ang Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH), Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) at MVP Group of Companies sa napakalaking inisyatibong pang kalusugan at kaligtasan kasabay ng pagbubukas ng 300-bed mega-treatment facility “We Heal As One Center” sa naturang lugar.

Inaasahan matatapos bukas (Abril 29) ang nasabing quarantine facility kasunod ang apat pang quarantine facilities ng Pamahalaang Panlalawigan ng Bulacan sa darating Biyernes (Mayo 1).

Kamakalawa ay nagsagawa ng final inspection sina DPWH Undersecretary Emil Sadain, INC official Atty. Glicerio “Ka GP” Santos IV at senior MVP group officers mula sa Meralco, Maynilad-Phil Hydro, PLDT-Smart, at Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC)-NLEX Corporation kung saan ito ay pormal na nai-turn over sa Inter Agency Task Force on COVID-19 (IATF) medical teams sa oras na makumpleto ang konstruksyon na magagamit din ito ng mga OFW na kinakailangang sumailalim sa mandatory quarantine.

“This is another testament to the effective collaboration among the public and private sectors. Our group will continue to support the government’s COVID-19 emergency response programs and help the country recover from this pandemic. During this health crisis, everyone must pitch in,” ayon kay MVP group head Chairman Manny Pangilinan.

Ang Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) sa pamamagitan ng NLEX Corporation ay maglalaan ng special and exclusive access  mula North Luzon Expressway patungong Philippine Arena quarantine center para sa mga IATF quarantine teams at medical support groups.

“Toll-free passage will also be given to all medical frontliners, ambulances, medical service vans and the support team buses of the Department of Health,” ayon kay NLEX President and General Manager J. Luigi Bautista.

Ang Meralco naman ay magtatayo ng concrete poles at mga distribution transformer para sa kuryenteng gagamitin nang walang bayad habang ang Maynilad Water and subsidiary Philippine Hydro Inc. ay magbibigay rin ng libreng serbisyo ng water supply para sa naturang mga quarantine sites.

Magkakaroon din ng PLDT wireless arm Smart Communications para sa gagamitin free Wi-Fi services para sa mga medical frontliner at pasyente.

Samantala, isasabay na rin sa pagbubukas ng Philippine Arena quarantine facility ang tatlo pang pasilidad ng Bulacan Provincial Government, ayon kay Governor Daniel Fernando sa isinagawang Provincial Interagency Task Force.

Ayon sa gobernador, sa kasalukuyan ay operational na ang Local Governance Center building na maaaring maglaman ng 56 Covid suspects para sa mga nanggaling sa abroad o OFWs.

Sinabi ni Fernando na ang 3-storey Extension Building ng Bulacan Medical Center (BMC) sa Malolos City ay inaasahan bubuksan o gagamitin sa darating na Biyernes (Mayo 1) na makapaglalaman ng 100 probable at suspect patients. ELOISA SILVERIO
