SINABI ng Malakanyang na ang mga empleyado ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) at mga indibidwal na maghahain ng kanilang kandidatura para sa Eleksyon 2022 ay kinukonsidera bilang authorized persons outside residence (APOR) sa gitna ng COVID-19 pandemic.

“The Inter-Agency Task Force approved the inclusion of all Comelec officials and employees as APOR,” ayon kay presidential spokesperson Harry Roque.

“Also considered as APOR during the filing of the Certificates of Nomination and Certificate of Acceptance of Nomination for Party-List Groups, and Certificates of Candidacy and Certificates of Nomination and Acceptance of aspirants for the May 2022 elections are the: chairperson/president, or in their absence the Secretary-Secretary-General or authorized representative of the political party, sectoral party, organization or coalition under the party-list system; aspirants or their authorized representatives; companions as authorized under COMELEC Resolution No. 10717,” dagdag na pahayag ni Sec. Roque.

Kabilang din sa APOR ang mga Comelec officials/personnel na inatasan na siyang magsumite o maghatid ng hard copies ng Certificates of Candidacy at iba pang related documents/materials sa Comelec Main Office.

Ang paghahain ng kandidatura ay nakatakda mula Oktubre 1 hanggang 8.

Idagdag pa rito, ayon kay Sec. Roque ang mga magpapartisipa sa World Health Organization Solidarity Trial for COVID-19 vaccines, na kinabibilangan ng researchers, workers, miyembro, at affiliate staff ng Solidarity Trial Vaccines Team, at maging ang health workers, ay pinapayagan sa interzonal at intrazonal movement kahit ano pa man ang community quarantine classification at ipinatutupad na granular lockdowns.

Ang target participants at eligible patients na nakatira sa mga lugar na nasa ilalim ng granular lockdowns, ayon kay Sec. Roque ay papayagan na umalis o lumabas ng kanilang bahay para sa dahilang kailangan sa clinical trial.

Gayunman, hindi naman papayagan na lumabas o umalis ng bahay ang mga nasa lugar na nasa ilalim ng granular lockdown. (CHRISTIAN DALE)
