NAGPAABOT ng pakikiramay ang Malakanyang sa pamilya ni Ginoong Mario Castro, empleyado ng Information Communications Technology Office (ICTO) na namatay matapos mahulog sa 4th floor ng Mabini Hall sa loob ng Malacañang Compound.
“The Presidential Security Group and the PNP Security Force Unit are jointly investigating the unfortunate incident. We in the Office of the Press Secretary are sending our deepest condolences to Mr. Castro’s family and loved ones,” ayon kay Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angeles.
Kapwa tinitingnan ng PSG at PNP-SF ang posibilidad na sinadya ni Castro na tumalon mula sa 4th floor ng Mabini Hall.
Si Castro ay administrative aide ng ICTO na nasa ilalim ng Office of the Deputy Executive Secretary for Finance and Accounting (ODESFA).
“He died from an apparent fall from the fourth floor of Mabini Hall which is located inside the Malacañang compound,” ayon kay Cruz-Angeles.
Sa kabilang dako, sinabi pa ni Cruz-Angeles na handa ang Malakanyang na magbigay ng tulong sa pamilya ni Castro.
“We will do whatever we can to help the family,” aniya pa rin.
Sa ulat ni PLt. Adonis Aguila, hepe ng Manila Police District – Homicide Section na isinumite kay PBrigadier General Leo “Paco” Francisco, MPD director, bandang 3:20 ng madaling araw nang makarinig ng kalabog ang ilang tauhan ng Agilex Security Agency.
Nang mag-usisa, natagpuan nila ang bangkay ng biktima.
Patuloy ang imbestigasyon ng MPD – Homicide Section upang matiyak kung sinadya o aksidente ang pangyayari at kung may foul play. Isinailalim din sa awtopsiya ang labi ng biktima. (CHRISTIAN DALE/RENE CRISOSTOMO)
