“I just could not hide my confidence,” sabi ni Carrion-Norton sa lingguhang online forum ng Philippine Sportswriters Association (PSA) kahapon. “Caloy is so cool…I am more nervous than him.”
“I talk to him several times, talking about his condition and he always say he is fine and working hard everyday as the Olympics nears,” dagdag niya patungkol sa 21-anyos na protegee.
“He was given vaccine three weeks ago,” ani Carrion. “I really don’t want him to have his vaccine shot because I am so worried of the effect. But the president of Japan Organizing Committee said it would be better… because if he tested positive, he will not be allowed and could not compete.”
“He only competed in parallel bar in the All-Japan Championships and he nearly won. He did not compete in floor exercise and vault kasi makikita ng mga rivals niya na mga Japanese ang kanyang routine and moves.”
