GUSTO palang maging pastor ni Edward Barber balang araw.
Ayon sa former PBB housemate, natagpuan na raw niya ang purpose ng kanyang buhay sa labas ng showbiz industry pagkatapos niyang sumama sa Church ministry.
Sabi ng ka-loveteam ni Maymay Entrata, “Nahanap ko ‘yung balance sa buhay ko sa labas ng industry at ‘yung ginagawa ko sa loob ng industry. May mga bagay na I’m not willing to sacrifice it or mas importante ‘yun kesa ‘yung job here and there sa loob ng industry.”
Nagpasabi na rin siya sa kanyang ABS-CBN family na he wants to be a pastor one day.
“I love ABS-CBN. I love my family here. But at the end of the day, it is work. And I have other people that I love too outside…I wanna be in a ministry which is not a priest [but] a pastor. Maybe one day,” pag-amin niya.
Aniya pa, nag-eenjoy siyang um-attend every Saturday service sa church at aktibo sa youth ministry.
Ipu-pursue pa rin naman daw niya ang showbiz career, pero sa ngayon uunahin daw muna niya ang church.
“This is still something that I love. This is something that I’ll be doing for a time but that’s (Church ministry) just one of my desires. That one day, to be part of a ministry.”
Aminado siyang marami ang nabago sa kanyang buhay lalo na ang perception niya sa ibang tao.
“They saw the change in me. I didn’t used to be the most patient son to my mom. I didn’t used to be the best brother for my sister. I didn’t used to be the best guy in general. I openly admit that.
“But I began to look at myself and other people differently. Have grace, have more patience, have more love for other people. Dati hindi importante sa ‘kin’ yung mga maliit na bagay,” ang mahaba niyang paliwanag.
Reaksyon naman ng netizens, hindi raw kaya dahil sa ka-loveteam na si Maymay ang isa sa dahilan kaya ibig maging pastor ni Edward.
May boyfriend na ang girl and besides parang hindi na rin daw maibalik ng dalawa ang sweetness nila tulad ng dati.
Uhmmm… siguro calling kay Edward ang maging isang servant ng ating Panginoon balang araw.
Sa ngayon parte pa rin siya ng Star Magic artists na kasama sa US tour.
