RIZAL REP.

Juan Fidel Nograls, Kabataan party-list Rep. Sarah Elago at Buhay party-list Rep. Lito Atienza.

“National legislation and support from all sectors are needed to achieve the targets and indicators of each of the SDGs,  as the common framework of government offices and institutions in formulating, adopting, and implementing their programs and projects,”  ayon sa mga nabanggit na mambabatas.

Kabilang sa mga 17 SDGs : eradicating poverty; eliminating hunger; promoting good health and well-being;  providing access to quality education;  promoting gender equality; ensuring availability and sustainable management of water and sanitation for all;  guaranteeing access to affordable and clean energy promoting sustainable economic growth,  productive employment and decent work at building resilient infrastructure,  promoting inclusive and sustainable industrialization and fostering innovation;

Kasama din dito ang “reducing inequality;  establishing sustainable cities and communities;  promote responsible consumption and production; taking urgent action to combat climate change; conserving life below water; conserving life on land;  promoting peace and justice and building strong institutions at  ensuring partnerships to achieve the goals.

“It is imperative that key decision makers consistently monitor the performance of the Philippines to ensure that the country is on track in achieving the SDGs by the year 2020 and aligned to our roadmap of legislation and programs, including the “2017-2022 Philippine Development Plan” within the sustainable development framework for the benefit of present and future generations, ” ayon sa inaprubahang resolusyon.
