MALAPIT nang maabot ng Quezon City ang 1.7 milyong target population sa vaccination rollout sa nasabing lungsod.
Ayon sa ulat, hanggang nitong Hulyo 13, umabot na sa 1,013,988 jabs ang nagawa ng Quezon City government magmula nang simulan ng siyudad ang bakunahan noong Marso.
Sa nasabing bilang ay 686,311 o katumbas ng 40.37% ng 1.7 million target population ang nakatanggap ng kanilang first doses, habang nasa 327,677 o katumbas ng 19.28% ng parehong target ang fully protected matapos makatanggap ng kanilang second doses.
Iniugnay ni Mayor Joy Belmonte ang tagumpay ng city’s vaccination program sa masisipag nilang healthcare workers, volunteers, at auxiliary personnel.
“From our police officers who ensure that the vaccine supply is secure from the warehouse to the sites, the doctors, nurses and other medical workers who screen patients and administer the vaccine doses, up to the volunteers who marshal our sites, distribute forms, and clean up after, and the encoders who record our patients’ data individually — the continuous success of our program is due to your unwavering efforts. We are truly grateful for your service to our QCitizens,” ani Mayor Belmonte.
Ang QCProtektodo Vaccination Program ay tuloy-tuloy ang pagganda sa tulong at suporta ng stakeholders ng siyudad kasama ang malls, homeowners associations, religious groups, medical organizations, schools at universities, government agencies, private sector groups, business establishments, at maraming iba pa.
