Mandaluyong City – On February 6, 2023, two jackpot winners from separate Lotto draws finally claimed their winnings at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.

The first claimant, a 42-year-old resident from Iloilo City, bagged the Ultra Lotto 6/58 jackpot prize worth ₱49,500,000.00, with the winning combination 24-39-31-19-42-13, drawn on January 20, 2023 at the PCSO Draw Court in Mandaluyong City.

According to him, he barely plays the Lotto, and has only started using the winning combination last month, saying, “Kung para sa iyo, mapupunta sa’yo.

The second claimant, a 72-year-old retired worker from Pateros, Metro Manila also claimed on the same day his Lotto 6/42 jackpot winnings worth ₱25,490,659.00, with winning combination 31-41-29-25-20-08, drawn on January 31, 2023 at the PCSO Main Office.

In an interview, the winner mentioned that he has been a Lotto patron for 25 years and his winning combination is a lucky pick or machine-generated random numbers.

When asked how he intends to use his winnings, he responded, “Unang-una, ipagpapagawa o ipagpapaayos namin ng bahay. Pangalawa, magnenegosyo at yung iba, ilalagak muna sa bangko.”

Pursuant to Republic Act No. 1169, winners have one year from the date of the draw to redeem their prizes, otherwise they will be forfeited and will form part of the PCSO Charity Fund.

The general public is also reminded that prizes exceeding Php 10,000.00 are subject to a 20% final tax in accordance with the TRAIN LAW.

To claim the jackpot prizes, winners must write their names and affix their signatures at the back of their winning tickets, and present two (2) valid government IDs at the PCSO Main Office in Mandaluyong City.
