The North Luzon Expressway (NLEX) and Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) have joined forces and are working hand-in-hand to address the flood problem in the country’s premier highway to the North. In a statement released Sunday, September 6, NLEX installed barriers and did sandbagging along the affected stretch, begun ahead of the habagat onslaught and reinforced when the rivers overflowed.
