LUMAGDA ang Pilipinas at Singapore sa apat na Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) sa state visit ni Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.

Ang mga kasunduang ito ay Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Personal Data Protection sa pagitan ng National Privacy Commission (NPC) ng Philippines at ng Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) ng Singapore; Memorandum of Understanding sa pagitan ng Bases Conversion and Development Authority of the Philippines at Enterprise Singapore for Singapore at Pilipinas para magkaroon ng business opportunities at development sa New Clark City sa Pampanga; MOU sa pagitan ng Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System of the Philippines at Public Utilities Board of Singapore on water collaboration.

Magpapalitan din ng pananaw sina Pangulong Marcos Jr. at Singaporean President Halimah Yacob ukol sa South China Sea.

Sa press conference, sinabi ni Press Secretary Trixie Cruz-Angele na tatalakayin ng dalawang lider sa bilateral meeting ang regional at global issues.

Ang iba pang paksa na pag-uusapan ay ang political at security cooperation, bilateral mechanisms sa informal consultations ng Pilipinas at Singapore, active military dialogues at intelligence exchanges, law enforcement, maritime cooperation, at training assistance. (CHRISTIAN DALE)
