PINAKILOS agad ni Armed Forces of the Philippines chief of staff Gen Felimon T. Santos, CSAFP ang lahat ng military intelligence network para i-validate ang report na may 3,000 miyembro ng China People’s liberation Army ang nasa spying and immersion mission ngayon sa Pilipinas.
Una rito, nanawagan si Senador Panfilo Lacson sa lahat ng security agencies ng gobyerno na beripikahin ang ulat hinggil sa 2,000 hanggang 3,000 PLA na nasa bansa na umano ngayon.
Ayon kay Gen. Santos, “We are in the process of validating the report of Sen Lacson that being a matter of serious concern. “
Samantala, isang senior military officer naman ang nagsabing mukhang exaggerated ang intel report ni Sen Lacson. “ Dont know the source of sir Ping but any country that will undertake a foreign intel ops will not deploy that so much number of operatives.”
“But for sure, there are Chinese intel operatives deployed/operating here in our country. Maybe they run in hundreds and they use legit covers like businessmen, media, academe, tourists,” ayon pa sa military officer.
“With current military doctrine, pratices and tech, di na kailangan mag-deploy ng madaming tao.
To gather intel, you deploy small teams and maximize use of tech in order to minimize personal risks, compromise, and embarrassments/international scandal,” ayon pa sa Saksi Ngayon informant.
