BIDA KID CAMPAIGN PARA SA SAFETY PROTOCOLS, INILUNSAD NG DEPED

BILANG bahagi ng 124th Founding Anniversary ng Department of Education (DepEd), isinagawa ng ahensya ang National School Launch ng BIDA Kid Campaign sa San Roque National High School (SRNHS) sa Antipolo City upang mapalakas ang ‘safe return to schools measures’ noong Hulyo 7, 2022.

Kaugnay sa planong pagpapatupad ng face to face classes sa lahat ng mga paaralan sa susunod na school year, pinalakas ng DepEd ang panawagan nitong sundin ang health and safety protocols sa mga paaralan, kabilang ang BIDA Kid Campaign, na isinusulong ang 3Bs: Bakuna (Vaccination), Bayanihan (Solidarity), and BIDA behaviors.

“I think the BIDA Kid Campaign is relevant for all of us. This is not just a program; we would like to consider this an advocacy program. The BIDA Kid Campaign must become embedded and a way of life for our learners and teachers as we go back to our face to face classes,” pahayag ni Education Assistant Secretary for Field Operations and National Academy of Sports Malcolm Garma.

“I would like to express our deepest appreciation and gratitude to our partners, internally and externally, for their support of the BIDA Kid Campaign,” dagdag ni Assistant Secretary Garma.

Ang departamento ay nakipag-partner sa Department of Health, United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund, at United States Agency for International Development (USAID) upang lalong mapalakas ang program’s information dissemination and implementation ng nasabing programa.

“I also witnessed how teachers and students and parents have found creative and inspirational ways to cope with this during these extremely challenging times. We are so proud to share with you the BIDA Kid Campaign, which was developed in partnership with the Department of Education and the Department of Health,” pahayag ni USAID Office of Health Director Michelle Lang-alli.

Ang DepEd Central Office ay itinurn-over ang Information, Educational, and Communication materials and kits sa host school at field office, na pormal na tinanggap nina DepEd CALABARZON Regional Information Officer Ariel Azuelo, SDO Antipolo Superintendent Christopher Diaz, at SRNHS School Head Rosa Tayamora.

“Even before this launch, the information officers in the field have been doing our part and our share in the promotion of this advocacy. Mahalaga po ang bayanihan para sa tagumpay ng atin kampanya sa ligtas na balik eskwela ng ating mag-aaral,” ayon kay DepEd RIO Azuelo.

Sa pamamagitan ng field offices, ang departamento ay itinampok ang BIDA Kid Campaign materials gamit ang iba’t ibang forms of media, kung saan 13 sa mga ito ay ginamit ang television platform, 20 sa radio platform, at tatlo sa Out of Home media. (ROWENA D. HUGO)
