WALANG naging hadlang at mabilis pa sa alas-kuwatro na lumusot sa kumpirmasyon ng Commission on Appointments (CA) ang ilang matataas na opisyal ng pamahalaan.

Sa plenaryo, hindi na pinatagal pa ang pag-appoint kina Eduardo Año bilang kalihim ng Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), Rolando Bautista, kalihim ng Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) at si Atty. Ailee  Lizada na pinuno ng Civil Service Commission (CSC).

Si Lizada ay mauupo sa CSC hanggang Febrero 2025 kung kaya’t ito ang pinakamatagal na manunungkulan sa nasabing ahensya.

Wala namang paglagyan ng tuwa ang nasabing mga opisyal dahil sa walang tumutol sa posisyon ng mga ito.

Samantala, pinagtibay din ang appointments ng anim na opisyales ng Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) na sina Ramon Sevilla Bagatsing, ambassador sa Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal; Noe Albano Wong, ambassador sa Republic of Korea; Noel Eugene Eusebio Mejica Servigon, Permanent Representative of the Republic of the Republic of the Philippines to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations; Ma. Teresita Cruz Daza, ambassador ng Republic of Ecuador and Republic of Peru; Christopher Baltazar Montero, ambassador to Brunei Darussalam at Jean Alia Yasin Robles, foreign service officer class IV.

Habang inaprubahan din ng CA ang ad interim appointments ng 42 general/flag and senior officers ng Armed Forces of the Philippines.
