NGAYONG magbubukas na muli ang klase simula sa Lunes, Oktubre 5, pinaalalahanan ng Joint Task Force COVID Shield ang mga internet shop owner hinggil sa ‘No Minor Allowed” rule at mahigpit na pagpapatupad sa health safety protocols sa kanilang establisimyento.

Sa koordinasyon sa Philippine National Police (PNP) na pinamumunuan ni Police General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan, inatasan ng JTF COVID Shield ang lahat ng police commanders na makipag-ugnayan sa mga local official sa kanilang areas of responsibility hinggil sa operasyon ng mga internet shop.

Inatasan ang mga pulis na paalalahanan at bantayan ang mga may-ari ng internet shops na pinayagan ng LGUs na mag-operate sa ilalim ng community quarantine, na mahigpit na sundin ang guidelines at quarantine protocols.

Ngayon pa lamang ay nagbaba na ng direktiba si Police Lieutenant General Guillermo Lorenzo Eleazar, commander ng JTF COVID Shield, dahil sa inaasahang mga paglabag at pagpasok ng mga menor de edad sa mga internet shop simula sa susunod na linggo.

“We understand that a number of elementary and high school students in the public schools do not have computers, laptops and other gadgets for the opening of classes so there maybe some of them who would go to the internet shops for their online classes for the use of computers and to avail internet connections,” ani PLt. Gen. Eleazar.

“Our commanders on the ground should take the lead not only in reminding the internet shop owners that minors should not be allowed to enter in accordance of the guidelines set forth by the IATF-EID (Inter-Agency Task

Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases) but also in making sure that this and other rules are strictly and properly observed,” dagdag pa ng heneral.

Nabatid na ang mga internet shop ay kabilang sa ilang business establishments na pinayagang mag- operate nitong Setyembre.
