Matapos ang alingasngas sa pagitan ng FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano (lead actor nitong si Coco Martin at producers ng show) sa PNP at DILG, sa wakas ay nakapag-usap na rin ang magkabilang panig.
Ginawa ang dialogue sa Camp Crame. Tumagal lang ito ng isang oras.
Matapos ang meeting, naglabas ng joint statement ang dalawang panig. Sinabi dito ng DILG na sila, kasama ng PNP, ay patuloy na susuporta sa long-running at top-rating show dahil patuloy daw itong nagbibigay ng inspirasyon sa mga Pilipino at pinapakita rin nito na sa huli, ang kabutihan ay laging nagwawagi.
Sa panig naman ng ABS-CBN, sinabi nilang patuloy din nilang ipo-portray si Cardo Dalisay bilang isang police officer na may integridad at may dedikasyong paglingkuran ang protektahan ang mga Pilipino.
Sa isang interview na ipinost sa Instagram account ng aktor, sinabi nito na: “”Nagkapaliwanagan kami ngayon ni DILG Secretary Eduardo Año, napaliwanag namin yung side namin na itong mga ginagawa namin sa teleserye ay, kumbaga, inspirasyon para sa amin, para sa aming manunuod, and then napaliwanag din nila yung side nila.
“Ang ikinaganda nito sa lahat ng pag-uusap namin ngayon, nagkaayos, nagkapaliwanagan ng mga bawat punto.”
Ito ang buong joint statement ng dalawang panig:
ABS-CBN and the Department of Interior and Local Government met yesterday (Nov. 21) in Camp Crame and resolved the issues related to the program “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano.” It was a fruitful dialogue wherein both parties were thankful for the chance to express their views directly to each other.
The PNP stated the importance of the support and respect of the people to its organization, while recognizing ABS-CBN’s freedom to create and convey the story of the program.
For its part, ABS-CBN assured them that the program will continue to portray Cardo Dalisay as a police office with integrity, who is dedicated to serve and protect the people.
The DILG, including its attached agency the Philippine National Police, will continue to support ‘FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano’ as it continues to inspire Filipinos with the valuable lesson that in the end, good will always triumph over evil.
