“Christmas Charms” Spectacle Illuminates Quezon City

The holiday season commenced with the grand unveiling of “Christmas Charms,” a vibrant and well-attended event in Quezon City. Hosted by Fatima Kate Bisan, the evening featured a diverse program of entertainment, highlighted by a performance by celebrated vocalist Ana Ramsey, a dynamic presentation by the Daloy Dance Company, and a refined musical set by the 15-piece Orchestra by VPT Music Ensemble.

Adding a heartwarming dimension to the event, SM City Sta. Mesa invited children with Down syndrome from the Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines, Inc. (DSAPI) to partake in the festivities, making the celebration even more meaningful.

Preceding the unveiling of the tree, a dazzling light show captivated the audience, building anticipation for the main event. The centerpiece of the celebration was the unveiling of a magnificent 52-foot Christmas tree, lavishly decorated with gold Christmas charms, a large gift box, and a classic red ribbon, presented via a visually striking Kabuki Drop.

Among the notable attendees were Jesus Raymund Arañas, Area Head – AVP for Mall Marketing for Central B Region; Alan Jarantilla, Regional Operations Manager Central 4 at SM Supermalls; District 4 Action Officer Atty. Zandy Zacate, Ms. Carmi Bandayrel (representative from the office of the Vice Mayor), Ms. Olga S. Dela Pena (Substation Commander of Galas Fire Station), and Gabriel Angelo Celso (Police Captain of Galas Police Station), representing the Quezon City local government.

The event served as a noteworthy cultural offering for the community, signaling the start of the festive season. The event was held at SM City Sta. Mesa.
