INIMBITAHAN ni dating Vice President at ngayo’y Naga City Mayor Leni Robredo ang publiko na dumalo at makiisa sa People Power 40 Kick-Off Concert sa Sabado (Pebrero 21) sa Quezon Memorial Circle.
Sa isang Facebook post, ibinahagi ni Robredo ang poster ng event na inorganisa ng Mayors for Good Governance (M4GG) and Kaya Natin! At may temang “Awit at Aksyon Kontra Korapsyon.”
“Everyone’s invited!! This concert is organized by Kaya Natin and Mayors for Good Governance,” wika ni Robredo sa kanyang post.
Magsisimula ang pre-show ganap na alas-4 ng hapon habang ang main concert ay magsisimula ng alas-6 ng gabi.
Tampok sa pre-show ang Madeline, Hey Moonshine, Stonefree, Chloe Redondo, Jkris Dantes, Crispin, Sisa and Bassilyo, TSN Drag, Mz. Chronicles, and DJ JhaiHo.
Pangungunahan naman ang main concert nina Ogie Alcasid, Janno Gibbs, Rivermaya, Ice Seguerra, Ebe Dancel, Pio Balbuena, stand-up comedians Alex Calleja at Red Ollero, Morobeats, Bea Binene, Elmo Magalona, Arkin Magalona, Earl Agustin, Chelsea Alley, at Over October.

“The concert seeks to remind Filipinos that the unity and courage that restored the country’s democracy in 1986 can today be channeled into the fight against corruption,” wika ng mga organizer.
“People Power proved that the Filipino people, when united, can stand up to injustice and demand accountability. This concert is a way to honor that legacy while encouraging citizens, especially the youth, to continue the fight for transparency and good governance,” dagdag nila.
