NAITALA ang Region 4A o mga lalawigan na bumubuo ng CALABARZON, bilang unang rehiyon na insurgency-free ngayong 2026.
Ayon kay Army 2nd Infantry Division commander, Major General Ramon Zagala, “CALABARZON achieved a historic milestone on the 128th Anniversary of Philippine Independence after becoming the first region in the country this year to be declared under Stable Internal Peace and Security (SIPS) Status.”
Ang buong rehiyon ng Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, at Quezon) ay pormal nang idineklara na “insurgency-free” para sa taong 2026 sa pamamagitan ng Stable Internal Peace and Security (SIPS) Seal Awarding Declaration at Renewal ng SIPS Commitment for the Calabarzon Provinces sa Quezon Convention Center.
Ang deklarasyon ng “Stable Internal Peace and Security” (SIPS) sa Calabarzon ay ginawa sa Quezon Convention Center na dinaluhan nina Interior Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla Jr.; Quezon Governor Angelina “Helen” Tan, chairperson ng Calabarzon Regional Peace and Order Council; Undersecretary Ernesto Torres Jr., executive director ng National Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict; Lt. Gen. Cerilo Balaoro Jr., commander ng Armed Forces of the Philippines Southern Luzon Command (Solcom); Major Gen. Ramon Zagala, commander ng Army’s 2nd Infantry Division (2nd ID); at Police Brig. Gen. Hansel Marantan, director ng Police Regional Office 4A, kasama ang iba pang opisyal ng pambansa at lokal na pamahalaan..
Pormal na tinanggap ni Governor Tan, ang plake ng deklarasyon bilang Tagapangulo (chairman) ng Regional Peace and Order Council (RPOC) ng Calabarzon, sa isang makasaysayang seremonya
Nabatid mula kay MGen. Zagala na lalawigan ng Cavite ang unang probinsiya sa Region 4A na idineklarang nasa ilalim ng SIPS noong 2018 at ni-revalidate noong n 2024. Sumunod ang Laguna noong 2019 at revalidated noon 2026, sumunod ang Batangas ng taong 2021. Sumunod ang lalawigan ng Quezon na idineklarang SIPS taong 2023 at sinundan ng Rizal Province noong 2024.
Naging daan para makamit ng CALABARZON ang kategoryang kauna-unahang rehiyon sa bansa na nakakuha ng Stable Internal Peace and Security Status.
