MAPADADALI ang pagrehistro ng mga korporasyon sa Securities and Exchange Commissioner (SEC), Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR), Social Security System (SSS), PhilHealth at Pag-IBIG ngayon matapos na ilunsad ng gobyerno ang first phase ng kanilang Central Business Portal (CBP) noong Enero 28.

Ang CBP ay isang online system, na maa-access sa https://business.gov.ph. Ito ay nag-aalok ng single site/one-stop shop para sa lahat ng business-related information at transactions, maging sa pagrehistro ng ‘corporation, registering business and securing business permits/certificates, licenses’ mula sa nasabing mga ahensiya.

Para sa initial implementation (Phase 1), ang CBP ay bukas na sa domestic corporations, partikular sa one-person corporation, corporations na dalawa hanggang apat ang incorporators; regular corporations ‘whose incorporators are juridical entities and/or the capital structure is not covered by the 25%-25% rule’.

Ang portal ay magbibigay ng unified application form para sa lahat ng ahensiyang kasama sa business registration process. Ang citizen na magrerehistro ng korporasyon ay hindi na kailangan na mag-accomplish at mag-file ng maraming registration forms sa iba’t ibang ahensiya ng gobyerno.

Ipinahayag ni Commissioner Caesar R. Dulay, umaasa siya na sa isinagawang paglulunsad ng online registration platform, mas maraming taxpayers ang mapadadali at mabilis ang kanilang pagkumpleto ng registration requirements ng gobyerno.

“It will put delays, bureaucratic gridlocks and inefficiencies a thing of the past. It will likewise put more taxpayers into the tax net thereby strengthening revenue collection efforts and eventually pump more lifeblood into the veins of government operations,” pahayag pa niya. (JOEL O. AMONGO)
