QUEZON – Kusang sumuko ang secretary general ng Karapatan Quezon sa 2nd Infantry Division matapos mabunyag ang propaganda tactics ng mga lider ng NPA.
Ang NPA leader na si Genelyn Dichoso ng Brgy.10, Poblacion, Catanauan, Quezon ay sumuko sa tulong ng kanilang local government noong Lunes ng umaga (Abril 5).
Samantala, pinabulaanan ni Dichoso ang ikinalat umanong impormasyon ng Karapatan Timog Katagalugan, na inaresto at hina-harass siya ng militar.
Sinabi ni BGen. Rommel Tello, acting commander ng 2ng Infantry Division, “Your lies are now being revealed by those among you who have come to their senses, as such, your Philippine Army will never falter until all your deceptive tactics will be completely exposed to the people”.
Ang Karapatan Quezon ay isa sa binuo ng CPP-NDF na legal fronts para magpakalat umano ng maling impormasyon at malinlang ang mga tao at magalit sa gobyerno.
Dagdag pa nito, “The surrender further solidifies the CPP-NPA’s irrecoverable defeat considering that not only its ordinary fighters are disillusioned but there are also indications of discontent among their top leaders”.
Nanawagan si Tello sa iba pang natitirang NPA na sumuko at sumama na tungo sa mapayapang pamumuhay at tapusin ang walang kwentang pakikipaglaban sa maling pamamaraan.
Isasailalim si Dichoso sa reintegration process, libreng medical check-up at debriefing.
Matatamo rin nito ang mga pribelehiyo sa programa ng gobyerno na Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program o E-CLIP. (CYRILL QUILO)
