NAGPAHAYAG ng matinding pasasalamat si Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte sa masisipag at masisigasig na healthcare workers at frontliners ngayong Araw ng Paggawa.

Sa mensahe ng pangulo, sinabi nito na pinasalamatan niya ang mga healthcare worker at mga frontliners dahil sa hindi matatawarang commitment ng mga ito na tiyakin na walang magiging sagabal sa pagde-deliver ng goods at services para mapanatili ang komunidad at industriya ngayong panahon ng kagipitan.

“To all Filipino workers here and abroad, let me assure you that this administration will endeavor to work as vigorously as you have in creating an environment where security of tenure, statutory labor standards and workers’ rights are not only upheld and protected, but also cherished as the foundations of a strong and thriving workforce,” ayon sa Chief Executive.

Sinabi pa ni Pangulong Duterte, ngayon ay nakahanap ang lahat ng bagong kahulugan ng taunang paggunita ng Araw ng Paggawa.

Ngayong taon aniya ay dinadakila niya ang mga Pilipinong manggagawa “who- fueled not just by the desire to support their families and advace their careers-have tirelessly toiled these past several months to ensure that our society will continue to function in the face of an unprecedented health crisis that crippled industries across the world. Together, let us rebuild a stronger and more resilient society that we can proudly leave behind to succeeding generations of Filipinos.”
