BILANG suporta sa kampanya ng Marikina City health care program laban sa COVID-19, naglunsad ang Ang Probinsyano Party-list ng mga health care program sa Metro Manila.
Inumpisahan ang kampanya sa Marikina na siyang kauna-unahang nahandugan ng “Alagang Probinsiyano, Kalinga sa LGU”.
Ayon kay Ang Probinsiyano Party-list Rep. Alfred Delos Santos, ang medical programs ay makukonsiderang complete services kung saan bukod sa free medical check-ups, maintenance medicines and vitamins, mayroon ding diagnostic and laboratory tests habang ang mga bedridden ay sasadyain sa kani-kanilang tahanan ng mga doctor at health workers.
“There are 14.5 million Filipinos with comorbidity. These people are considered high-risk if they would contract Covid.
Which only means that millions would rather do self-medication than go to the hospitals or health centers to get their check-ups. The economic situation also prevents people from seeking medical health care. In response to this need, APPL has started the “Alagang Probinsyano Health Service” in the provinces when the pandemic started. This is our first venture to bring this service in Metro Manila,” pahayag ni Rep. Delos Santos.
“Ang Probinsyano party-list is hoping that with the launch of Alagang Probinsyano Health Service in Marikina City, the complete health care project would multiplicate in other parts of Metro Manila, where the population is densest, and the Covid numbers are highest,” ayon pa sa mambabatas.
