NAKATANGGAP si Pangulong Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.  ng military honors sa Malacañang Palace matapos ang kanyang inagurasyon sa  National Museum of Fine Arts, araw ng Huwebes.

Kasama ng Pangulong Marcos si First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos at ang kanilang mga anak na sina Ilocos Norte Representative Sandro Marcos, Simon Marcos, at Vincent Marcos.

Kasunod nito, pinangunahan ni Pangulong Marcos ang oath-taking ng kanyang Cabinet members na magsisilbi sa ilalim ng kanyang liderato kabilang na si Vice President Sara Duterte na pamumunuan ang Department of Education.

Ang mga personalidad na hahawak ng ‘key government posts” at tutulong sa pamamahala na Marcos ay kinabibilangan nina:

Samantala, isang araw bago pa ang inagurasyon ni Pangulong Marcos ay inanunsyo na ng kampo nito na si outgoing Solicitor General Jose Calida  ang uupo bilang chairperson ng Commission on Audit habang si Jose Arnulfo “Wick” Veloso naman ang magiging pangulo ng Government Service Insurance System.
Pinangunahan din ni Pangulong Marcos ang oath of office ng anak na si Sandro, bagong kongresista ng first district ng Ilocos Norte.
Ang iba pang lokal na opisyal mula sa Ilocos Norte ay nanumpa sa kanilang tungkulin sa harap ni Pangulong Marcos.
“Sinabi ko kasi kay Sandro, dalhin mo silang lahat dito kahit na papano para masabi ko naman na sinumpa ko ang aking anak na naging bagong congressman at lahat ng kasama natin dito sa Ilocos Norte,” ayon kay Pangulong Marcos na nanilbihan ding gobernador ng lalawigan. (CHRISTIAN DALE)
