SUPER-THRILLED si Pia Wurtzbach sa kanyang big screen comeback ngayong taon.
Mula nang makoronahan si Pia bilang Miss Universe 2015, nakagawa na siya ng dalawang pelikula under Star Cinema: Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad (2017) with Vice Ganda and My Perfect You (2018) with Gerald Anderson. Itong pangatlo niyang movie ay ipo-produce ng Black Sheep (the same company behind Exes Baggage and Alone/Together).
“I am very excited. I have a lot of fun when I am acting, when I am playing a role, when I have to put Pia aside first and become someone else,” pahayag ng ikatlong Miss Universe winner ng bansa.
Anong klaseng movie ba ito? Anong role ang kanyang gagampanan?
“Offbeat! And when I say comedy, it’s not just your usual comedy, either. It’s dark comedy,” ani Wurtzbach.
Hindi niya pinangalanan ang makakatambal sa pelikula pero sinabi niyang “my leading man in this film is very good.”
What about her dream of pursuing a Hollywood career?
“Well that dream is still there. I’m still trying to pursue that dream. I know I still have a long way to go, definitely. I have to gain more experience in the Philippines before I go and try abroad…”
Hinggil sa kanyang interview with Captain Marvel lead star Brie Larson in a recent media tour, natanong din si Pia kung ano ang kanyang dream role.
“Superhero na rin, of course,” diretsang sagot niya.
