PINASINUNGALINGAN ng Malakanyang ang naunang pahayag ni Presidential Security Group (PSG) Commander Jesus Durante III na ” fully vaccinated” na si Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Sinabi ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, “mistakenly informed” di umano si Durante ng kanyang medical staff na nabigyan na nga ng second dose si Pangulong Duterte.
“This is in reference to the remarks of Presidential Security Group (PSG) Commander BGEN Jesus Durante III on President Rodrigo Roa Duterte receiving a second dose of the anti-COVID-19 vaccine,” ayon kay Sec. Roque.
“Gen. Durante was Further, Gen. Durante has admitted, apologized and rectified his earlier remarks. We hope this clarifies the matter,” dagdag na pahayag ni Sec. Roque.
Bago pa ito, may text message si Sec. Roque sa media na nagsasabing “ES said that details of their conversation should be kept private. Gen Durante has personal knowledge of 2nd shot. It was given after EUA was granted to Sinopharm” na taliwas sa sinasabi nito ngayon.
Nauna rito, kinumpirma ni Durante sa isang panayam na ” fully vaccinated” na si Pangulong Rodrigo Roa Duterte.
Aniya, dahil sa sunod-sunod ang mga aktibidad ni Pangulong Duterte kaya’t kailangan na mabigyan na ito ng kanyang 2nd dose ng bakuna.
“Si Pangulo po ay vaccinated na po siya, at napakahalaga po nito, para lalo namin siyang maingatan, lalo na magagawa niya nang maayos at tuloy-tuloy ang kanyang tungkulin, upang makapaglingkod sa ating mga kababayan,” ayon kay Durante.
Nangyari aniya ito matapos ang 14 araw mula nang mabigyan ng first dose ng Sinopharm si Pangulong Duterte.
“Opo, at nai-televise naman iyon. Yeah, fourteen days after yung activity, nagkaroon po siya ng second dose,” aniya pa. (CHRISTIAN DALE)
