‘DRUG LORD’ NAPATAY

MAGUINDANAO – Bumulagta ang isang umano’y kilabot na drug lord matapos manlaban sa otoridad nang isilbi ang warrant of arrest sa bahay nito sa Barangay Lipao, Datu Paglas kahapon ng umaga.

Kinilala ang nasawi na si Abdulatip Pendaliday, alias Grasscutter, nahaharap sa patong-patong na kaso.

Ayon kay Brigadier General Roy Galido, ang commander ng 601st Infantry Brigade, humantong sa shootout ang pagsisilbi lang sana ng tropa ng 40th Infantry ‘Magiting’ Battalion ng Joint Task Force Central kasama ang Datu Paglas PNP at PDEA BARMM ng warrant sa suspek, alas-6:50 ng umaga.

“Despite the conduct of sustained military operation against the BIFF in Datu Paglas, Maguindanao we are also continuously addressing the threat brought by armed lawless group and drug-related syndicate,” wika ni BGen. Galido.

Ayon naman kay Lieutenant Colonel Edwin Alburo, ang Commanding Officer ng 40IB, sa isinagawang clearing operations narekober nila ang (5) Caliber .45 Pistol; (1) Cal.38; (2) Fragmentary Hand grenade; two (2) rounds RPG anti-tank; ¼ grams ng white crystalline substance believed to be shabu; (2) digital measuring device intended for shabu, mga bala at bangkay ng suspek.

“Pendaliday was also considered as a notorious drug lord with a standing warrant of arrest for violation of Republic Act 9165 and escapee of Maguindanao provincial jail,” pahayag ni Lt. Col. Alburo.

Pinasalamatan naman ni Major General Juvymax Uy, commander of 6ID at JTF Central ang mga tauhan nito sa tagumpay na operasyon laban sa mga notoryus na suspek. “6ID and JTF Central continues our effort and dedicated service as performing our mandated task to serve our people and securing our land, in this part of Mindanao,” dagdag na pahayag ni Maj.
