Mandaluyong City. A 38-year-old widow from Tanza, Cavite claimed the jackpot prize of Php42,282,132.80 for Mega Lotto 6/45 drawn on 28 March 2022 at the PCSO Main Office at Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.
The widow who is also working in a private office bought her ticket in an outlet in Tanza, Cavite. She picked the winning number combination 07-25-08-03-12-05 from the birthdates of her family members, including her two kids and the date of their wedding anniversary of her late husband which is number 25.
With all the struggles in life she remains calm and full of hope saying “Finally ito na ang hulog ng langit para sa akin. Huwag po tayong susuko sa hamon ng buhay, darating din ang swerte ninyo dahil naniniwala ako na kung para sa iyo, para sa iyo.” She plans to invest her winnings for the future of her kids. Also, to build a new house for her family and put up a new business.
She also applauds PCSO for its Charity Programs “Napakalaking tulong ang naibibigay po ng mga programa ng PCSO galing sa taya ng mga tao sa lotto. Maraming Salamat po sa PCSO.”
The new millionaire becomes the 20th lucky jackpot winner for the first quarter of year 2022.
All prizes above Php10,000.00 are subject to 20% tax pursuant to the Tax Reform Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law. Also, PCSO reminds the public that all winning tickets should be claimed within one (1) year from the conducted draw date or else it will be forfeited based on PCSO Charter (RA 1169).
