INILIPAT ng pamahalaan ang mga local government official sa A1 priority list ng COVID-19 vaccination program sanhi ng “high exposure” ng mga ito sa coronavirus.
Sinabi ni Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, nabibilang na ngayon sa A1 group ang mga lokal na opisyal kahalintulad ng health workers.
Ang mga lokal na opisyal ngayon ay nasa ilalim na ng A1.5.
“The mayors, governors, they are the ones implementing localized lockdown, prevention, detection, isolation, treatment and recovery programs. While they are not from the medical field, they are equally the frontliners in implementing our policies,” ang pahayag ni Sec. Roque.
“Sila talaga ang humaharap sa tao,” ani Sec. Roque.
Samantala, ang mga nabibilang naman sa A2: senior citizen at A3: persons with comorbidities.
