Recently, Sulu Governor Sakur Tan highlighted that addressing livelihood, education, and health concerns are crucial steps towards improving the lives of the Bangsamoro people.
In agreement with Governor Tan’s perspective, Akoofw Partylist has expressed solidarity with the notion that focusing on livelihood opportunities, enhancing access to education, and improving healthcare services are pivotal for sustainable development within the region.
Dr. Chie Umandap , chairman and first nominee said, once it secured a seat in Congress comes 2025 elections, the partylist pledged to provide a generous grant worth 100 million pesos, along with the establishment of an OFW Mega Clinic equipped with dialysis facilities in BARMM.
The 100 million peso grant is expected to provide financial assistance to OFWs and their families, helping them overcome economic challenges and improve their quality of life.
