APRUBADO na ng City Council ng pamahalaang lungsod ng Maynila ang pagpasa sa Ordinance No.8970 o ang paglalaan ng P25 bilyon para sa 2026 mula sa general fund ng Manila City Executive Budget. Pinangunahan ni Councilor Timothy Oliver Zarcal ang deliberasyon sa kanilang regular session para tiyakin ang maayos na pamamahala. Mga pangunahing pangangailangan ang binigyang prayoridad sa budget tulad ng pabahay, kalusugan, edukasyoh at trabaho kaagapay ang kaligtasan ng publiko at pagbangon sa ekonomiya.
