The holiday season officially arrived at SMDC Light Mall on October 23, 2026, as the mall hosted Christmas Comes to Light, a Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony and Holiday Show that brought families, friends, and mallgoers together for an evening of festive cheer in Mandaluyong.
The celebration marked the start of the mall’s holiday festivities. The highlight of the night was the ceremonial lighting of the Christmas tree, which lit up the mall with warm, sparkling lights and set the tone for the season ahead.
Guests were treated to a spectacular Holiday Show filled with festive performances, music, and magical entertainment. Kai Montinola, the evening’s special guest, made a special appearance that delighted the crowd and added to the night’s festive spirit.
More than a spectacle, the event was a gathering of the community. Families, friends, and neighbors came together to share in the countdown, take in the dazzling lights, and make meaningful holiday memories, the kind of moments that make the season special.
“Christmas Comes to Light” reflects SMDC Light Mall’s commitment to creating spaces where communities can gather, connect, and celebrate. With the tree now glowing, the mall invites everyone to look forward to more holiday experiences in the coming weeks.
The festivities are just beginning. Mallgoers can stay in the loop for more holiday surprises and giveaways by following the Facebook pages of SMDC Light Mall and all SMDC malls and strips.
