Sa patuloy na mga pag-ulan at sa pagbahang dulot nito sa maraming bahagi ng bansa, tiniyak ng Philippine Health Insurance Corporation (PhilHealth) sa publiko na sagot nito ang pagpapaospital dulot ng dengue at leptospirosis, dalawa sa pinakakaraniwang kondisyon na nakakaapekto sa mga Pilipino tuwing tag-ulan. Ang pinalawak na benepisyo ng PhilHealth ay umaabot na ngayon sa P19,500 para sa moderate dengue at P47,000 naman para sa severe dengue.
