Tinukoy ni presidential spokesperson Harry Roque, ang desisyon ng Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF).
“In both cases, the children will be allowed to enter the Philippines regardless of age,” ayon kay Sec. Roque.
Iyon nga lamang, ang pagpasok ng mga ito sa bansa ay “subject to conditions” gaya ng pre-booked quarantine facility at COVID-19 testing sa laboratory operating sa airport.
“They, too, must be subject to the maximum capacity of inbound passengers at the port and date of entry,” giit ni Sec. Roque sabay sabing ang mga indibidwal na ito ay exempted mula sa visa requirement.
Idagdag pa ani Sec. Roque na inatasan ng IATF ang Bureau of Immigration at Department of Tourism na agad gumawa ng kaukulang guidelines.
“The foregoing is without prejudice to immigration laws, rules and regulations such that the Commissioner of Immigration shall have the exclusive prerogative to decide on waiver or recall of exclusion orders for the above foreign nationals, including other foreign nationals who have entered the Philippines by virtue of Inter-Agency Task Force resolutions,” ayon sa IATF.
Buwan ng Hulyo nang payagan ng pamahalaan ang mga “foreign children with special needs of Filipinos, foreign parent of minor Filipinos, and foreign parent of Filipino children with special needs” na makapasok ng bansa.
Ang Accredited foreign government at international organization officials at kanilang dependents, foreign airline crew members, foreign seafarers na may angkop na visas, foreigners with long-term at investor visas ay pinapayagan. (CHRISTIAN DALE)
