“The ICI and the Ombudsman must continue investigating the alleged involvement of the two resigned officials in flood-control corruption, as well as the other executive officials mentioned in the affidavit and testimony of former DPWH Undersecretary Roberto Bernardo,” pahayag ni Ridon.

Sa exposé ni dating Ako Bicol Rep. Zaldy Co, sinabi niyang sina Pangandaman at Usec.

“It is no longer tenable for the President to maintain that he knows nothing and has nothing to account for when the core members of his cabinet are implicated as key players in the corruption scandal.

“The Filipino people deserve answers. We will not allow these resignations to be used as a smokescreen to protect the real culprits. Justice must be served, and accountability must reach the highest levels of government,” dagdag pa nila.
